Our Story
Educating Minds, Inspiring Hearts
The College of Nursing Sciences, Sapele, began as a campus under the umbrella of the Delta State College of Nursing Sciences Warri in March 2023. During this initial phase, the institution operated alongside its sister campuses within a unified administrative framework established by the Delta State Government to enhance nursing education and training across the state.
March 2023 - 2025
Under the supervision and regulations of the NMCN and in line with the standards set by the parent institution, the Sapele Campus offered both academic and clinical training to aspiring nurses. It also experienced significant growth in academic structure, infrastructural development, and student population.
April 2025
National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), after a thorough assessment and evaluation process, granted full accreditation in April 2025 for the campus to operate independently as the College of Nursing Sciences, Sapele.
Present Day
The College of Nursing Sciences, Sapele, now stands as a beacon of nursing education in Delta State and beyond, committed to producing competent, compassionate, and skilled nurses who will contribute meaningfully to the health care delivery system in Nigeria.
